(Decatur, GA) – Thomas J. Price, DDS, MAGD, is pleased announce the merger of his dental practice, formerly located on Lawrenceville Highway, with the offices of Rowe Family Dentistry in Decatur’s Commerce Plaza building. According to Dr. Rowe, “Our decision to merge was a highly-selective one, as we’ve served the community for over 40 years now. We’ve seen many technological changes in the field of dentistry, and we’re proud to be part of those changes. Dr. Price brings with him the progressive momentum and patient philosophy we were seeking.”
Dr. Price received his undergraduate studies at Georgia State University, and went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Emory University in 1970. After having served as a dentist in the Navy for two years, he entered into private practice. He received his Fellowship credentials from the Academy of General Dentistry in 2004, and achieved his Mastership level in 2006.
“This is an exciting time – not only to be part of the growing Decatur community, but also within the nationwide dental community as well, ” said Dr. Price. “Given today’s innovative equipment, cosmetic procedures and dental implants, we are able to create lifelong beautiful smiles for patients of all ages in a more relaxed atmosphere.”
Through his Outreach work, Dr. Price’s mission to provide dental care to the underprivileged has touched the lives of remote villagers along the Amazon River in Peru and Brazil. He and his wife, Toni, who also serves as Office Manager, have participated on several missionary trips with the Presbyterian Church of the Redeemer sponsored by Atlanta’s international “Rivers of the World” (ROW) organization.
Dr. Price is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Northern District Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He presently serves as Alternate Delegate of the Georgia Academy of General Dentistry.
Expansion of present offices to begin in the fall.
